Skills Framework for Energy and Power

Working for the Energy and Power sector promises many rewarding career paths. Jointly developed by SkillsFuture Singapore, Workforce Singapore and Energy Market Authority, the Skills Framework for the industry is put in place to promote skills mastery and lifelong learning.

Here at Senoko, we partner with our employees by leveraging on the framework for their career development and skills upgrading. We ensure our employees thrive, with a blend of on-the-job training and formal and informal learning.

Through initiatives such as scholarships, sponsorships and awards, we encourage our employees to pursue their greatest potential.

On-the-Job and Internal Training

Senoko has been a Certified OJT Centre (COJTC) by the Institute of Technical Education since 1997. More than 500 blueprints have been developed to equip employees with the qualifications required to deliver operational excellence. In addition, internal training is conducted regularly to refresh the skills and knowledge for enhanced performance.

Informal Learning

Learn@Lunch sessions are organized for informal sharing amongst Senoko employees. Coaching and mentoring also play a part in facilitating informal learning, and play a vital role in the holistic development of our employees.

Formal Learning

External training courses and in-house training that revolve around Senoko Core Values and key focus areas are organized for employees’ development. E-Learning is being implemented so employees can perform self-directed learning.


Partnering with Energy Market Authority and Ministry of Education, scholarships are being offered to help employees pursue and complete their education.


We support employees’ academic and professional pursuits with sponsorships.


Senoko Energy Pte Ltd was awarded the SkillsFuture Employer Awards in 2019 by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) as an exemplary employers in Singapore who not only recognises skills mastery, but are also strong advocates for the SkillsFuture movement and building a lifelong learning culture in their workplaces.

Senoko Energy Pte Ltd was also selected for the Certified On-The-Job Training Centre (COJTC) Distinguished Partner Award in 2019. This award reflects our excellent commitment in people development through a structured on-the-job system. The COJTC scheme helps our company institutionalise a structured OJT system and improve the quality of our OJT practices, with the aim of developing a quality workforce.
