OKAY

From 10 March to 22 April 2022, Senoko Energy ran our inaugural Cycle for Change 2022 hybrid event with the aim to Take Charge of our sustainable actions and pedal their way to climate protection. In partnership with 16 like-minded sustainable brands and merchants, the event encouraged people to cycle and reduce their carbon footprint as a family activity or by changing the way they commute to work, to buy lunch and more.

Our Impact

Along 4 routes across the island in 4 weeks, 2,273 participants cycled a total of 670,904km – with that, 1,046 RECs were purchased to offset an additional three times the amount of CO2, that is 426,768kg, an equivalent of 13,548 trees planted*!

Kudos to our enthusiastic winners and participants for creating this impact while demonstrating the possibility of a sustainable lifestyle. 22 group and individual winners walked away with an array of prizes such as custom eco-friendly jerseys, Garmin watches, and one-year supply of LifeGreen24, 100% solar energy plan for their homes.

We also launched our TikTok page with a #TakeCharge TikTok Hashtag Challenge which garnered over 103 video submissions and over 1.13 million views.
