Senoko Energy Pte Ltd is one of Singapore's largest and most efficient power generation company licensed by the Energy Market Authority (EMA), providing more than a quarter of Singapore's electricity.​​​​

Since 1977, we have been serving Singapore's power generation needs, and have established a strong reputation as a reliable and dependable market leader.

Senoko is the first genco in Singapore to import piped natural gas from Malaysia; the first to repower our plant; the first to adopt combined cycle technology; as well as the first genco to be certified ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Senoko Energy is owned by an international consortium comprising Marubeni Corporation, ENGIE S.A., The Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc., Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. and Japan Bank for International Cooperation. Senoko Energy has three subsidiaries: Senoko Energy Supply (SES) Pte Ltd, a leading electricity retailer and related energy services; Senoko Services Pte Ltd (SSPL), a provider of fuel storage tank leasing and terminal services; and Senoko Gas Supply Pte Ltd, a gas operations company.

Singapore's leading licensed electricity retailer offering a comprehensive suite of services to the contestable segment of the retail market. SES serves around 20% of the contestable market, including large contestable customers and SMEs. SES also offers energy-related services such as energy management solutions.

Offers storage tank leasing and terminal services at the north of Singapore 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Senoko Gas Supply Pte Ltd
A licensed Gas Shipper and gas retailer authorised to ship gas within the Singapore Gas Network.

Senoko Energy receives inaugural Singapore Energy Award from Minister S Iswaran

The Singapore Energy Award caps an eventful year for Senoko Energy. In February, it celebrated the completion of it Stage 2 Repowering Project. At the same time it launched the Senoko Energy Scholarship program for ITE graduates. In August, its Senoko Sustainability Challenge 2013 ended on a high note with the Minister for Education giving out prizes to the winners.

The President's Award for the Environment from the Ministry of the Environment & Water Resources

This is the most prestigious environmental award in Singapore. The award recognises organisations with excellent environmental track records and valuable contributions to the environment and have adopted and promoted good environmental practices both within and outside their organisations. This award is a further testimony that the company is a true triple bottom line company, concerned not only with the financial performance, but also the impact on the environment and community.

Watermark Award 2008 from PUB

The award recognises organisations that have helped to ensure a sustainable water supply for present and future generations of Singapore. Senoko officially adopted Sungei Sembawang and actively collaborates with PUB, Waterway Watch Society and 10 neighbouring schools to pick up litter at park connectors along the 2.5km waterway. The company had earlier received water-efficient building certificates and is a member of the 'Friends of Water' by PUB.
