Dedication to cultivate a safe workplace culture
Senoko Energy is the winner for the power and gas sector of the inaugural NTUC uSAFE Sparks Award 2015. Senoko Energy was nominated by the Union of Power and Gas Employees (UPAGE), and Paul Maguire, President & CEO, received the award from NTUC’s Secretary-General, Mr Chan Chun Sing.
Senoko Energy receives inaugural Singapore Energy Award from Minister S Iswaran
The Singapore Energy Award caps an eventful year for Senoko Energy. In February, it celebrated the completion of it Stage 2 Repowering Project. At the same time it launched the Senoko Energy Scholarship program for ITE graduates. In August, its Senoko Sustainability Challenge 2013 ended on a high note with the Minister for Education giving out prizes to the winners.
Senoko Energy is certified ISO 50001-compliant
Senoko has been certified ISO 50001-compliant by TÜV SÜD PSB after a rigorous audit of Senoko's energy management and performance system. Senoko is the first power generation company in Singapore to be certified ISO 50001.
The Prize Award Ceremony signals the close of the Senoko Sustainability Challenge 2013
More than 100 entries were received from Primary and Secondary schools, and Junior Colleges and Centralised Institutes. The SSChallenge is Senoko Energy's key community outreach programme and is aimed at encouraging Singapore students to consider climate change from a global and local perspective.
Senoko Energy officially announced the completion of its Stage 2 repowering project
CCP 6 & 7, using Mitsubishi's state-of-the-art gas turbine technology, was converted from 3 units of 250MW oil fired steam plant.
SES awarded at the NAC Patron of the Arts Awards 2012
At the recent National Arts Council (NAC) Patron of the Arts Awards 2012, Senoko Energy Supply (SES), Senoko Energy’s wholly owned retail subsidiary, won the Associate of the Arts award. The awards ceremony, graced by Guest-of-Honour Mr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister of MICA, honours the corporations and individuals for their contributions towards the advancement of the Singapore arts scene.
Senoko takes delivery of first 701F4 gas turbine
Senoko unveils its new 701F4 gas turbine, the most advanced F-class gas turbine from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, as part of its repowering programme.
First Local Generation Company to Participate in Nationwide Electric Vehicle (EV) Test-Bedding Programme
Senoko Energy is the first power generation company in Singapore to purchase the EV under the test-bedding programme. As an early adopter, Senoko Energy will be part of the pioneering batch of EV owners who will be testing the viability of introducing EVs as an alternative form of transport into Singapore.
Senoko was awarded the Outstanding Sustainability Awards (OSA) 2010
Senoko Energy won the Outstanding Sustainability Award (OSA) in the "Enterprise Green Adopter" category. The Singapore Sustainability Awards recognizes enterprises in both private and public sectors with excellent sustainable business practices, and aims to promote the green cause and best practices among Singapore organizations.

The President's Award for the Environment from the Ministry of the Environment & Water Resources
This is the most prestigious environmental award in Singapore. The award recognises organisations with excellent environmental track records and valuable contributions to the environment and have adopted and promoted good environmental practices both within and outside their organisations. This award is a further testimony that the company is a true triple bottom line company, concerned not only with the financial performance, but also the impact on the environment and community.
Watermark Award 2008 from PUB
The award recognises organisations that have helped to ensure a sustainable water supply for present and future generations of Singapore. Senoko officially adopted Sungei Sembawang and actively collaborates with PUB, Waterway Watch Society and 10 neighbouring schools to pick up litter at park connectors along the 2.5km waterway. The company had earlier received water-efficient building certificates and is a member of the 'Friends of Water' by PUB.
Senoko wins the "Singapore Green Plan 2012" award
Senoko is the first genco to win the "Singapore Green Plan 2012" award, recognising Senoko as a role model of environmental protection.
