Care for the environment is among the top priorities of the Company. Substantial investments have been made to resolve, alleviate and minimise the impact of operation on it. It is the Company's corporate policy to ensure that its facilities comply with Government's environmental requirements and that the overall potential environmental impacts arising from the Company's operation are minimised. In doing so, the Company maintains close liaison and co-operation with Public Utilities Board, National Environment Agency and the policy maker, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources.

The Company is staffed with professional engineers and chemists to integrate environmental considerations into plant operation and maintenance planning. They are also responsible for environmental monitoring and assessment of the plant activities.

As a responsible employer, we also pay attention to safety to make sure that our staff and contractors work in the safest environment possible. Everyone, staff and contractors alike, must adhere to stringent safety procedures, follow safe practices and maintain self-care at all times.
