As a major utility, Senoko Energy recognises it has a responsibility to protect and preserve the environment of Singapore, and to maintain a safe working condition at all times.
Care for the environment is among the top priorities of the Company. While we aspire to provide quality power supply and services to our customers at a competitive rate, we operate our businesses in a manner that ensures a healthy and clean environment for our employees, customers and the public. Substantial investments have been made to resolve, alleviate and minimise the impact of operation on it. It is the Company's corporate policy to ensure that its facilities comply with Government's environmental requirements and that the overall potential environmental impacts arising from the Company's operation are minimised. In doing so, the Company maintains close liaison and co-operation with PUB, NEA and the policy maker, MEWR.
The Company is staffed with professional engineers and chemists to integrate environmental considerations into plant operation and maintenance planning. They are also responsible for environmental monitoring and assessment of the plant activities.
As a responsible employer, we also pay attention to safety make sure that our staff and contractors work in the safest environment possible. Everyone, staff and contractors alike, must adhere to stringent safety procedures, follow safe practices and maintain self-care at all times.
