The procurement of equipment and materials for use in Senoko Energy's generating plants is managed by the respective managers of the Company. Senoko Energy's tenders are open to both local and foreign suppliers. Through this information channel, Senoko Energy hopes to attract more suppliers to participate in its tenders.

Senoko Energy normally procures its equipment and materials through closed quotation (where only prospective tenderers will be invited) and public tender system. Tenders are open to both local and foreign suppliers. Through this information channel, we hope to attract more vendors to participate in the tenders. Tender notices are advertised on Fridays in the local English newspaper, The Straits Times, and are posted on the internet at this website. Tenders are open for a limited period, usually 3 weeks from the date of advertisement in the local newspaper.

Procurement Policy
- Qualification of Tenderer
  Tenders are open to all companies with adequate financial and technical capabilities. They should preferably be registered with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore [formerly known as Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB)]. Certain tenders are, however, open to Specially Registered Contractors.
- Closing of Tender
  Upon the closing of a tender, a tender opening committee will open all offers received. Relevant information submitted by the tenderers is acknowledged by all the members of the committee. Offers received after the closing time and date will not be considered.
- Award of Contract
  The successful tenderer will be notified in writing through the issuance of a Letter of Acceptance.
